Melania Trump revealed one habit she wishes her husband, Donald, would stop doing during a public interview on the Today show.<\/p>\n

Melania, who reportedly sleeps in a room separate from her husband<\/a> at the White House, said she wanted the president to stop tweeting, which he primarily does on his social media platform, Truth Social<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“What’s one habit you wish he’d give up?” host Savannah Guthrie asked Melania. “Let’s see, tweeting,” she responds with a big smile as she, Don Jr., Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany burst out laughing. The interview took place back in 2016 when the then-presidential candidate first entered the political arena. Even before his rise in politics, Trump was known for his highly controversial online posts.<\/p>\n

Now, Trump almost exclusively posts on his own site, Truth Social. His posts range from personal attacks on political opponents to updates on meetings with foreign leaders to announcements of the implementation of new tariffs.<\/p>\n

More recently, the commander-in-chief has used the platform to showcase content some would find disturbing. Back in September, President Trump began posting videos showing the US destroying small vessels with missiles in the Caribbean Sea, resulting in the deaths of those on board.<\/p>\n

The White House has so far posted five similar videos since early September.<\/p>\n

The president has also frequently employed the use of AI many times since the beginning of his second term in January.<\/p>\n

In late September, Trump posted an AI-generated video showing Democrats Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer wearing sombreros and fake mustaches while a voiceover spouts pro-Trump rhetoric.<\/p>\n

A few days later, an AI-generated image of Russell Vought, the Director of the United States Office of Management and Budget, dressed as the Grim Reaper. It was intended to foreshadow a wave of mass layoffs in the wake of the current government shutdown, which entered day 16 on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Tweets and other posts on social media has become a hallmark of President Trump’s tenure. So much so, that critics of the commander-in-chief have recently parodied these cyber footprints to mock the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

In August, California<\/a> Gov. Gavin Newsom, a staunch opponent of Trump and his moves to politicize the nation’s National Guard, relentlessly trolled the president with long, rambling and illogical tweets that paint the Golden State official as a sort of hero picked by the lord to save the world.<\/p>\n

Trump’s tweets have been the topic of many news articles as they sometimes contain eerie information like how the president is thinking about running for a third term even though it’s against the US Constitution.<\/p>\n
