That is likely because, although she has long been represented by Victoria Miro in London, where she lives, she has not previously had a New York gallery. Now she does: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.artnews.com\/t\/gladstone-gallery\/\" id=\"auto-tag_gladstone-gallery\" data-tag=\"gladstone-gallery\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gladstone Gallery<\/a> now represents Paul, with paintings by her on view at Art Basel Paris this week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tGladstone, which represents Paul in collaboration with Miro, will stage a solo exhibition in New York in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\t\tRelated Articles<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"c-lazy-image__img lrv-u-background-color-grey-lightest lrv-u-width-100p lrv-u-display-block lrv-u-height-auto\" src=\"https:\/\/www.artnews.com\/wp-content\/themes\/vip\/pmc-artnews-2019\/assets\/public\/lazyload-fallback.gif\" data-lazy-src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/interior-2.jpg\" alt=\"A glass-domed building with fair booths inside it.\" data-lazy- data-lazy- height=\"\" width=\"\"\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn a statement, Gladstone senior partner Max Falkenstein called Paul an \u201cincredible artist\u201d and said the gallery \u201clook[s] forward to \u2026 building new audiences\u201d for her work.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tInterest in Paul\u2019s art has been growing in the U.S. since her 2018 exhibition at the Yale Center for British Art, curated by Hilton Als. In January, she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/magazine\/2025\/02\/03\/the-world-changing-gaze-of-celia-paul\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">was profiled<\/a> in The New Yorker by novelist Karl Ove Knausgaard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ a-font-body-m     \">\n\tA year ago, Paul\u2019s work set a new record at auction when Self-Portrait (2017) sold for approximately $122,700 at Christie\u2019s London.
