\n\tElizabeth Olsen<\/a> is sharing her passion for moviemaking and, in a recent interview, explained why seeing films in a theater is essential.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actress recently mentioned that she would rather star in films that get theatrical releases rather than be made only for streamers.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIf a movie is made independently and only sells to a streamer, then fine. But I don\u2019t want to make something where that\u2019s the end-all,\u201d Olsen told InStyle<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe continued, \u201cI think it\u2019s important for people to gather as a community, to see other humans, be together in a space. That\u2019s why I like sports. I think it\u2019s really powerful for people to come together for something that they\u2019re excited about.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the same interview, Olsen was asked about one of her most prominent roles, Wanda Maximoff from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.<\/p>\n

\n\tOlsen said she had \u201cno idea\u201d if her character was still alive after The Scarlet Witch was last seen in 2022\u2019s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn making Marvel films, Olsen said it\u2019s \u201cgoofy\u201d and \u201cit\u2019s ridiculous,\u201d adding, \u201cWe\u2019re grown people behaving like children on a playground. We\u2019re flying. We\u2019re shooting things out of our hands. And it\u2019s a character that I\u2019ve gotten to return to so many times over 10 years. It\u2019s good to put her down and then I miss her and I want her back. I\u2019d jump at the opportunity to be in her shoes again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe WandaVision<\/a> star said that working with Marvel gave her a \u201cconsistency of a community and a job,\u201d adding, \u201cIt\u2019s financial security, I can make choices. It\u2019s offered me value, and that\u2019s useful when making independent movies.\u201d<\/p>\n
