Mariska Hargitay<\/a> knows star power when she sees it. <\/p>\n

The \u201cLaw & Order: SVU\u201d actor stopped by Amy Poehler\u2019s<\/a> podcast, \u201cGood Hang,\u201d<\/a> on Tuesday and recounted two fellow performers she came across who made her go \u201cHoly God.\u201d <\/p>\n

Hargitay told Poehler first about meeting actor Abigail Breslin, who was 7 years old when she appeared on \u201cSVU.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cShe was so young on the show. She kept doing this dance between takes … some kind of dance, and I started doing it with her,\u201d Hargitay said. \u201cIt was some funny little nursery rhyme schtick. I don\u2019t know what it was, but I would just do it with her, and then they would say \u2018Action!\u2019 And I swear to God \u2015 I don\u2019t think I\u2019ve ever seen anything like it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hargitay said that Breslin \u201cwould turn\u201d and instantly embody her character. <\/p>\n

\"MariskaMariska Hargitay couldn’t stop gushing over two guest actors.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne tear, and start lip quivering \u2015 no acting,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI remember going, \u2018What the fuck, are you, like, Meryl Streep?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

After the director yelled cut, Hargitay said, Breslin would just be a regular 7-year-old again and would \u201cgo back to her nursery rhyme.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cI was like, \u2018Oh, there\u2019s something. This kid is touched.\u2019 She is so magical,\u201d Hargitay said, before revealing the second actor she met who struck her. <\/p>\n

\u201cAnother person that I called it \u2015 and I remember saying it to her \u2015 is Meghann Fahy,\u201d Hargitay said of the star who later found fame on \u201cThe Bold Type\u201d and \u201cWhite Lotus.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen she did the show, I was like, \u2018Let me tell you something. I\u2019m just going to tell you right now, you\u2019re going to be a big movie star. You\u2019re going to be a huge star.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n

Aside from Fahy\u2019s obvious \u201ctalent\u201d and \u201clight,\u201d Hargitay said, she \u201cwas so sparkly, internally.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cAnd there have just been people that have come through where you go, \u2018Oh \u2015 oh, wow.\u2019 And it\u2019s almost like an effortless, beautiful light, and it\u2019s so exciting,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Now, when she sees Breslin, who became an Academy Award nominee at age 10, and Fahy, who won a Screen Actors Guild Award, Hargitary reacts with joy. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s so exciting to see them go on and go, \u2018I called it \u2015 I called it!\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n
