Louis Tomlinson<\/a> is teasing his next solo album, saying he\u2019s \u201cgot a really, really good feeling\u201d about the project.<\/p>\n

The soloist and former One Direction<\/a> member released his second and latest full-length effort, \u2018Faith In The Future\u2019<\/a>, in 2022.<\/p>\n

Taking to X\/Twitter today (September 10), Tomlinson shared an update with fans about his upcoming third LP.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust sat listening to the new record and I\u2019ve got a really, really good feeling this time round!\u201d he wrote. \u201cCan\u2019t wait for you all to hear it!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Later, the star hinted that he was \u201cgoing to play something new\u201d at this year\u2019s edition of his Away From Home indie festival<\/a> in New York next month. When a fan asked if this would be \u201conly one new song\u201d, Tomlinson replied: \u201cThat wouldn\u2019t be fair would it.\u201d<\/p>\n

The singer told his followers last week that it was \u201cabout time\u201d he played some new material on stage. He said he was \u201creally excited about\u201d his Away From Home \u201925 slot, adding: \u201cGot a few surprises. Should be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Music-News.COM<\/a>, Tomlinson previously described his forthcoming new tracks as \u201csunny\u201d with some \u201cchaos\u201d when asked by a fan what to expect.<\/p>\n

When performing at the Lodz Summer Festival in July, he reportedly revealed that he\u2019d \u201cactually finished the next record\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tomlinson\u2019s Away From Home Festival 2025<\/a> takes place at the Brewery Ommegang in New York on October 4 and 5. Other performers include Lauv<\/a>, Steve Aoki<\/a>, Pale Waves<\/a> and Circa Waves<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following on from his 2020 debut, \u2018Walls\u2019<\/a>, Tomlinson\u2019s second album was produced by Mike Crossey, who has worked with the likes of Arctic Monkeys<\/a>,\u00a0The 1975<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Wolf Alice<\/a>. The singer co-wrote the record alongside The Music<\/a>\u00a0frontman Rob Harvey, and the songwriting and production team Red Triangle.<\/p>\n

During an interview with\u00a0NME in 2022<\/a>, the singer said he was \u201cdefinitely\u201d more comfortable with who he was as an artist compared to when he first went solo.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat has been a process and I think it\u2019ll be an ever-evolving process as well,\u201d Tomlinson explained. \u201cBut I definitely feel really comfortable about just following my heart musically and seeing where it gets me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Over the summer, the singer hit out at online \u201cconspiracy chat\u201d about his personal life<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s just too much and too hurtful for me to see!\u201d he wrote on social media.<\/p>\n

In 2023, Tomlinson admitted that he felt some \u201cenvy\u201d when his former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles first started becoming successful as a soloist<\/a>.<\/p>\n
