{"id":96967,"date":"2025-10-25T07:40:13","date_gmt":"2025-10-25T07:40:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/96967\/"},"modified":"2025-10-25T07:40:13","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T07:40:13","slug":"see-photos-of-thursday-spacex-launch-of-spainsat-satellite-from-cape","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/il\/96967\/","title":{"rendered":"See photos of Thursday SpaceX launch of SpainSat satellite from Cape"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After an initial one-day delay, SpaceX<a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/2025\/01\/28\/spacex-rocket-launch-from-florida-kennedy-space-center-falcon-9-deliver-spainsat\/77978488007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">\u00a0launched the second of a pair of SpainSat NG satellites<\/a>, the rocket&#8217;s contrails glowing red and blue as it sped across the dark sky.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/10\/23\/spacex-to-launch-spainsat-ng-ii-from-cape-canaveral-falcon-rocket-tonight-when-is-liftoff\/86838683007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The liftoff occurred at 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 <\/a>from Launch Complex 40 in Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.<\/p>\n<p>The initial SpainSat NG (New Generation) satellite was launched back in January from Cape Canaveral. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.floridatoday.com\/story\/tech\/science\/space\/spacex\/2025\/10\/22\/what-to-know-before-spacex-rocket-launch-falcon-9-in-florida-of-spainsat-satellites\/86815132007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The two satellites <\/a>will provide X-band and military Ka-band communications for European government and military users, and are expected to last 15 years.<\/p>\n<p>The Oct. 23 launch marked the 88th of the year from Florida, inching closer to last year&#8217;s record of 93 launches.<\/p>\n<p>Next up on the Florida launch schedule is a batch of SpaceX Starlink internet satellites.
