The musician shared her take on the track during a performance at last night\u2019s (October 25) Harvest Moon \u2013 an annual benefit concert headlined by Young in Lake Hughes, California, which raises money for the Bridge School and the Painted Turtle Camp.<\/p>\n

The concert also saw sets from Beck<\/a>, Tyler Ramsey and Muireann Bradley, as well as Masanga Marimba \u2013 a group that plays traditional and popular music from Africa and Latin America.<\/p>\n

As well as playing a string of her own hits, including \u2018Summertime Sadness\u2019, \u2018Video Games\u2019 and \u2018Young and Beautiful\u2019, Del Rey paid homage to Young with an acoustic version of his 1972 track, taken from his album \u2018Harvest\u2019.<\/p>\n

Del Rey is preparing to release the follow-up to 2023\u2019s\u00a0\u2018Did You Know That There\u2019s A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd\u2019<\/a>. The new record had been due to be\u00a0named \u2018Lasso\u2019, with an initial release date of May 2025<\/a>, but it was\u00a0pushed back to September when it was renamed \u2018The Right Person Will Stay\u2019<\/a>. Last month, however,\u00a0Del Rey said she had decided it would now be titled \u2018Stove\u2019 and would be released at the end of January 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

When she first announced the album, it was widely reported that she would lean into a country direction, however\u00a0that was then thrown into question when she suggested that she was going to tone that down for a \u201cmore Southern gothic\u201d approach<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Details about \u2018Stove\u2019 still remain vague, although the singer spoke to\u00a0NME<\/a>\u00a0last year about the album, and suggested that the lyrics might be lighter than on her previous albums.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve maybe less to say in terms of any self-revealing things like on \u2018Tunnel\u2019 or \u2018Blue Bannisters<\/a>\u2019 or \u2018Chemtrails Over The Country Club<\/a>\u2019, and just more melodic,\u201d she told us. \u201cMaybe more American Songbook style?\u201d<\/p>\n

She also added that there would be a \u201cplayful\u201d feel to it than she originally planned, saying: \u201cIf you hang in long enough, it just feels easy. There\u2019s no vindication, no nothing \u2013 I\u2019m just kind of happy to be here. It\u2019s easy-going in that way.\u201d<\/p>\n

In other news, Del Rey recently hit back at claims that she grew up rich, saying she has \u201cno idea what that would\u2019ve felt like\u201d<\/a>.<\/p>\n

As for Young, his bandmate recently claimed the music icon was feeling \u201creally sick\u201d and \u201cdrained\u201d before he formed the Chrome Hearts<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He headlined Glastonbury this year, and was given a four-star review<\/a>, and described by\u00a0NME\u00a0as \u201ca headline set that proves that sometimes, there\u2019s still power to be found in an old-school approach.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is, in short, the definition of no frills,\u201d it read. \u201cIt\u2019s testament to the power of Young\u2019s songwriting, then, just how brilliantly it all works, how little the momentum drops.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since then, the singer-songwriter has\u00a0announced a 50th-anniversary re-release of his 1975 album \u2018Tonight\u2019s The Night\u2019<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0announced that he was removing his music from Amazon Music<\/a>.<\/p>\n
