With the finals just a week away a number of stars will return to the paddock this weekend looking to tune up for the big games ahead.
The Storm welcome back Jahrome Hughes after five games out with a shoulder injury while Herbie Farnworth (hamstring) is part of the Dolphins’ extended squad and certain to get a late call-up if Kristian Woolf’s men are still in the finals hunt.
Rabbitohs skipper Cameron Murray (Achilles) plays his first game of the season in Friday night’s blockbuster against the Roosters, who have star No.7 Sam Walker back from a concussion.

Broncos: With Gehamat Shibasaki stood down for a breach of team standards, Jesse Arthars gets a recall on the wing and Deine Mariner pushes into the centres. Brendan Piakura has been named to start in the back row with Jaiyden Hunt on the bench. The Broncos have won only one of their past 18 games against the Storm but can lock up a top-four spot if they can reverse that trend. No changes in the 24-hour update with Delouise Hoeter the 18th man.
Storm: Centre Jack Howarth is listed among the reserves as he closes in on a return from a groin injury suffered in Round 22. Halfback Jahrome Hughes returns from a shoulder injury while Xavier Coates, Eli Katoa, Nick Meaney and Josh King are all back after being rested in Round 26. Back-rower Shawn Blore has suffered a fractured larynx so Ativalu Lisati comes into the starting side. No changes in Wednesday’s 24-hour update with Marion Seve and Jonah Pezet retained in the squad.

Sea Eagles: Rising playmaker Joey Walsh gets his first taste of NRL action after being 18th man the past two weeks. Warrington-bound prop Toafofoa Sipley has played his last game for Manly after failing in his bid to have his Dangerous Contact charge downgraded at the judiciary and copping a four-game ban. D’Jazirhae Pua’avase is in line to join the bench for his NRL debut.
Warriors: Just the one change for Andrew Webster with Sam Healey taking over at hooker from Wayde Egan, who is expected to miss just one game with a hip injury. The Warriors need the Broncos to lose to the Storm on Thursday night to have any chance of making the top four but they have won only one of their past six games at 4 Pines Park.

Roosters: Halfback Sam Walker is back on deck after suffering a concussion against the Eels in Round 25 so Sandon Smith drops to the reserves. No other changes for Trent Robinson to the side that pumped the Storm. A win will wrap up a spot in the top eight for the Roosters while a loss opens the door for the Dolphins.
Rabbitohs: Cameron Murray has been named on the interchange for his first game of the season after rupturing his Achilles during the pre-season. Centre Jack Wighton is also back from suspension but Latrell Mitchell has been unable to overcome a back injury. Wighton’s return sees Tallis Duncan revert to the back row and Jacob Host move to the bench alongside Cody Walker, Brandon Smith and Murray. Winger Alex Johnston needs three tries to surpass Ken Irvine’s premiership tryscoring record.

Dragons: No changes to the side beaten by Manly last week but prop Michael Molo has been listed among the reserves as he looks to return from an ankle injury. The Dragons have won three of their past four games at WIN Stadium.
Panthers: Winger Brian To’o and back-rower Liam Martin will be given another week off after enduring a huge workload in 2025 but the rest of Ivan Cleary’s big guns are back on deck. Paul Alamoti holds his place on the wing and Matt Eisenhuth remains in the 17 after captaining the side last week.Â

Titans: Former Wallaby Carter Gordon and teenager Cooper Bai will make their NRL debuts in Des Hasler’s final game as Titans coach. Gordon comes into the centres in place of Jojo Fifita (hamstring) in a reshuffled backline that sees Keano Kini at fullback, AJ Brimson in the centres and Phil Sami on the wing after missing last week’s game with a groin injury. The Titans have won five of their past seven games against Wests Tigers.
Wests Tigers: Winger Jeral Skelton (concussion) is replaced by 18-year-old debutant Heamasi Makasini, a rugby union sensation at Newington College who was the 2024 Harold Matthews Cup Player of the Year. Bench forward Alex Seyfarth’s return from suspension pushes Charlie Murray to the reserves.Â

Bulldogs: With Jacob Kiraz (ankle) sidelined, Enari Tuala gets the nod on the wing. Viliame Kikau (infection) is back on deck so Josh Curran reverts to the bench and Daniel Suluka-Fifita drops out.
Sharks: Centre Jesse Ramien returns after two games out with a thumb injury and five-eighth Braydon Trindall has been named to play despite leaving the field last Sunday with an ankle injury. Forward Oregon Kaufusi is listed among the reserves as he looks to return from a calf injury.

Dolphins:Â Star centre Herbie Farnworth is closing in on a return from the hamstring injury he suffered in Round 22. The Englishman has been named in the extended squad and looks certain to be called up if the Dolphins are still in the finals race. Back-rower Kulikefu Finefuiaki (ankle) returns to fill the void left by Connelly Lemuelu (knee).
Raiders: A fourth debutant has come into the side on Wednesday with Kain Anderson added to the bench. Fellow first-gamer Manaia Waitere moves into the starting side and Matt Timoko will miss the match along with Kaeo Weekes, Jed Stuart, Ethan Strange, Jamal Fogarty, Joe Tapine, Tom Starling, Simi Sasagi, Josh Papalii, Zac Hosking and Hudson Young. Winger Michael Asomua and bench forward Joe Roddy are the other debutants.

Eels: In his final game for Parra, Dylan Brown lines up at five-eighth against the club he is joining next year. Brown’s last game in the No.6 jersey was in Round 19 against the Panthers. The Eels have won seven of their last eight games against the Knights.
Knights: In his final game at the helm, Adam O’Brien has named the same 17 that went down to the Sharks although game day swaps are on the cards again. Fletcher Hunt has been named at fullback and Dane Gagai in the centres while Jake Arthur is listed in the No.6, Phoenix Crossland in the No.9 and Jayden Brailey on the interchange.Â
