LEE COUNTY, Fla. (Gray News) – A family in Florida was in for a surprise when a wild boar came crashing through their back door and into their living room.
Bodycam video from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies responding to a call about the wild animal.
The sheriff’s office called it a “boarglary” and said the animal went “hog-wild.”
Video shows the glass smashed in from the family’s sliding door and the boar standing in the living room.
The deputy can be heard estimating the animal is at least 300 pounds.
“That’s a big, mean, feral animal,” one family member says.
Then, the boar is seen darting back outside, nearly knocking over the deputy in the process.
But then, the animal comes back for more. In the yard, the boar is seen charging at the deputy multiple times until it is finally lassoed.
Deputies were able to move the animal back into the woods “where he belongs,” they said.
