Austria: Online experiences marketplace TourRadar  has expanded its user-generated content features, introduced new AI discovery tools and launched a US$1m partner fund as part of its latest platform release.

TourRadar has released its Fall 2025 update, adding AI-powered discovery tools, new social commerce features and wider use of user-generated content (UGC) across its marketplace for organised adventures.

The Vienna-based company said the release builds on six months of development focused on integrating community engagement, UGC and personalisation into the traveller journey. The update centres on TourRadar Moments, a feature within the mobile app that showcases unedited videos and photos captured by travellers during multi-day tours.

Moments, which are now being rolled out across the full platform, are linked directly to bookable tours to create a faster path between inspiration and booking. TourRadar said the move reflects rising consumer demand for first-person video and authentic content, citing insights from Expedia Group showing that UGC drives higher trust than traditional marketing assets.

Travis Pittman, CEO and Co-Founder of TourRadar, said: “Moments are captured by travellers, not marketing teams, and that’s what makes them powerful. People connect with what’s real, building trust and driving the kind of inspiration that turns into bookings.”

As part of the wider update, TourRadar has introduced RISE, a US$1 million partner fund for creators, agents and travellers. Participants, called Ambassadors, can earn commission, credits and free trips by sharing content or recommending tours.

Further features in the Fall Release include:

AI Travel Discovery tools, including TourRadar’s CustomGPT for personalised recommendations and an Instagram Trip Recommender that generates tour suggestions from reels shared via DM.

A new community forum for travellers, creators and advisors.

No-Surprise Pricing, intended to provide clearer, more transparent pricing from search to checkout.

TourRadar said the combination of AI, community tools and raw UGC supports its broader strategy to reshape how travellers discover and book organised adventures.
