Israeli high-tech company Gong, which develops business intelligence solutions for sales teams, has announced a major recruitment drive after hiring more than 70 employees over the past year. As part of the new campaign, Gong will add 100 positions at its Ramat Gan development center, focusing on a wide range of engineering roles across software and technology, as well as product managers.
The expansion is expected to increase the workforce at the Ramat Gan center by 25%, bringing the number of employees there to 500 by the end of 2025.
The recruitment drive follows a year of strong growth, during which Gong reported an annual revenue run rate of $300 million and a sharp increase in the use of its AI technologies.
Gong’s AI-based platform provides sales teams with tools to improve productivity, increase predictability, and accelerate revenue growth by analyzing customer interactions and business trends. The company now serves more than 4,500 customers, including four of the world’s ten largest companies (as ranked by Fortune), spanning industries from technology and telecom to financial services, media, and healthcare.
As part of its expansion, Gong recently moved into new offices in the ICON Tower, located in the Ramat Gan Stock Exchange complex. The company leased 4,800 square meters across four floors. At the same time, it is expanding internationally with a new office in Austin, Texas, and enlarged operations in Dublin, in addition to existing hubs in Singapore, San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City, and Chicago.
Gong’s global workforce will soon surpass 1,500 employees. Its growth is fueled by rising demand for specialized AI solutions in the sales sector and the increasing adoption of its platform since the company’s founding in 2016 by Amit Bendov and Eilon Reshef.
“We continue to have strong momentum and business growth accompanied by demand for Gong’s AI platform. Extensive hiring is intended to support this expansion and allow us to continue developing innovative AI solutions,” said Eilon Reshef, co-founder and CPO at Gong. He added that Gong’s platform now includes more than ten dedicated AI agents for sales teams, built on a decade of accumulated customer interaction data.
According to Adi Moreh, Head of Global R&D and Product Recruitment at Gong, the current hiring push is designed “to address the challenges and needs of organizations worldwide. Employees who join us will take part in global projects that directly impact customers and develop professionally in a collaborative and innovative environment.”
To date, Gong has raised $583 million in seven funding rounds, the latest being a $250 million Series E at a valuation of $7.2 billion.
