Chad Michael Murray made his grand return to The Drew Barrymore Show on Wednesday and, naturally, it meant only one thing: It was time for a ping-pong rematch.
See, last November, the One Tree Hill alum and host Drew Barrymore went head-to-head in a game of table tennis as part of a segment called “Ping It On.” For every missed ball, the loser had to answer a series of slightly risqué questions, including showing off their sexiest go-to dance move.
This time, however, Barrymore revived the segment with a few additions, most notably a golden ping-pong trophy, sweatbands, and referees Ross Mathews and Sunny Anderson asking all the spicy questions.

And while it was technically Barrymore who missed the first ball, Murray was asked to answer the game’s first question.
“The question is: If you had to give a lap dance, what song would you dance to? And please if you could show us,” Anderson said. “I know you won, but if you could answer the question.”
Murray instantly had a song in mind. “The song’s ringing in my head — I totally wouldn’t do it, but did you ever hear ‘Dr. Feelgood?’” he asked, referencing Mötley Crüe’s 1989 single. “There’s an outside chance.”
To prove his point, Murray proceeded to show off his moves by performing a body roll and slowly running his hand down his chest, which caused a flustered Anderson to collapse to the ground.
Mathews then turned the question around on Barrymore. “Well, when I was younger, I did try to do a sexy striptease dance for my boyfriend at the time to New Order’s ‘Blue Monday,’” she confessed. “And it was not sexy. I didn’t know what I was doing yet.”
The Wedding Singer actress went on to lose the second round too, prompting her to share her thoughts on the sexiest kitchen utensil. “Tongs,” she answered, before mimicking the utensil with her hand and winking.
Murray, on the other hand, is a big proponent of a “nice little ladle.” Sweeping his hand in the air, he added, “Just drizzle a little. Throwing it out there!”

Barrymore earned her first point after the commercial break, which meant Murray had to divulge whether or not he prefers lights on or lights off during life’s… uh, steamier moments.
“I gotta be honest, like, it don’t matter,” he declared. “I don’t discriminate lights on, lights off, but I would prefer the lights on because then you get to see their beautiful eyes. It’s true! It’s just more of a connection.”

In the end, however, it was revealed that the game’s winner wouldn’t be decided by the amount of points they’d earned, but rather through one last round. Despite Murray originally being in the lead, Barrymore was able to steal the victory with one skilled shot.
“That does not feel fair! I clearly lost,” Barrymore exclaimed, prompting Murray to reply, “It’s totally fair!”
The pair ultimately ended up embracing and agreeing to share the “Ping It On” trophy. “Joint title!” Anderson cheered.
Sounds like Murray and Barrymore will need to have a winner-take-all rematch sometime soon.
