EXCLUSIVE: Dear Life will spring into being on New Year’s Day.
The Brooke Satchwell-starring drama series for Stan will launch in Australia on January 1, 2026, with all episodes made available. It was originally known as Love Divided By Eleven. Watch an exclusive trailer above.
Satchwell (Black Snow) plays Lillian Vandenberg, a woman struggling after the death of her fiancé who finds comfort in seeking out the recipients of his organs, triggering a tangled chain of connection. Below are a bunch of images from the series, which is made by Gristmill and had major production investment from Screen Australia, in association with VicScreen.
We first revealed news of the show earlier this year, when Nine Entertainment-backed Stan announced its latest slate. Robyn Butler and Wayne Hope are the writers and directors, and also exec-produce alongside Greg Sitch and Cailah Scobie and Amanda Duthie for Stan. MaryAnne Carroll is the producer.
Duthie recently announced a move to Netflix to lead its Australia and New Zealand content.
Hat Trick International has international sales rights to Dear Life and introduced the series to buyers at MIPCOM last month, where our sources say it was met with a positive response. More on sales when they come in.
Also starring are Eleanor Matsuura (The Walking Dead), Ryan Johnson (Doctor Doctor), Ben Lawson (Firefly Lane), Annie Maynard (Upper Middle Bogan), Daniel Henshall (A Sunburnt Christmas), Kerry Armstrong (Nugget is Dead: A Christmas Story), Deborah Mailman (Total Control), Megan Smart (Black Snow), Marg Downey (The Newsreader) and Khisraw Jones-Shukoor (The Newsreader).
