EXCLUSIVE: Oscar nominee Ana de Armas (Blonde) is in final negotiations to join Grant Singer’s upcoming film Reenactment, joining Benicio del Toro and Cameron Diaz.

The Blonde, Knives Out and No Time To Die Star most recently had the lead in John Wick spinoff Ballerina.

Patrick Wachsberger of 193 is selling the buzzy project at this week’s American Film Market with production due to begin soon in LA. Plot details remain under wraps.

The movie reunites Del Toro, director Singer and producer Black Label Media after Singer’s 2023 directorial debut Reptile, the thriller that debuted at Toronto and topped charts on Netflix.

Molly Smith, Trent Luckinbill and Thad Luckinbill of Black Label will produce Reenactment along with Wachsberger of Legendary company 193. Black Label’s Rachel Smith will executive-produce along with Bradley Thomas of Imperative, Ashley Stern of 193 and LBI’s Rick Yorn and Scott Greenberg.

Del Toro is coming off an acclaimed performance in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another. Diaz most recently appeared in the 2025 Netflix action comedy Back in Action opposite Jamie Foxx. Netflix reported that the feature was their most watched film of 2025 so far.

Black Label Media also is in development on The White Van, with Singer attached to direct. Singer is known as a top music video director and has worked with artists including the Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Travis Scott, and Camila Cabelo.

Ana de Armas is repped by CAA and Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks.
