Jockey Taylor Marshall has been disqualified for eight months by Queensland stewards, becoming the first domino to fall in a falsified health assessment form saga which also has other jockeys in the firing line.

Marshall pleaded guilty to a charge under Australian Rule of Racing 229(1)(a) which states “a person must not engage in any dishonest, corrupt, fraudulent, improper or dishonourable action or practice in connection with racing.”

According to a stewards’ report, Marshall “submitted a fraudulent health assessment results form for the 2024/2025 season by altering the date on the Health Assessment Results Form completed by his general practitioner from 2023/2024.”
