Princess Charlotte is just ten years old right now, but she’s destined to play a crucial role in the Royal Family someday.

As the daughter of a future King and sister to Prince George, who sits second in line to the throne, Charlotte holds significant importance within the family.

While she might pursue a career beyond Royal duties after completing her education, she’s also expected to become a working Royal, like her younger brother, seven-year-old Prince Louis.

However, uncertainty surrounds what title she might hold in the future.

When the next major Royal transition occurs, she could potentially find herself without any title whatsoever, reports the Express.

This situation would arise when her father William ascends to the throne, as George would likely receive the Prince of Wales designation.

Consequently, Charlotte wouldn’t be eligible for the Princess of Wales title and might end up without any Royal designation.

The celebrity broadcaster OSSA channel previously clarified this scenario: “By the time William is King of England, his eldest son George will be Prince of Wales.

“Her right to be Princess of Wales flies out the window when her brother gets the official title of Prince of Wales because a Royal lady can only be a princess if she’s married to a Prince or the daughter of a Prince.”

In Charlotte’s situation, she would fit neither category, since her father would hold the title of King by then.

Nevertheless, numerous Royal experts have suggested she could assume the Princess Royal title, particularly given her status as a monarch’s daughter. The title is currently held by Princess Anne, and Charlotte can only assume it if her father becomes King and Princess Anne is no longer living.
