Oracle Health has announced the launch of its AI Centre of Excellence for Healthcare, intended to support healthcare organisations in leveraging the latest AI advancements.

The newly established centre functions as a central resource, providing expertise to healthcare systems and hospitals for effective AI deployment and optimisation.

Through collaboration with industry leaders, Oracle is facilitating healthcare organisations in exploring new opportunities by combining technical knowledge, transformative insights, and advanced AI to achieve novel clinical and business results.

The centre is backed by a team of Oracle experts and offers secure cloud environments for AI experimentation, insights to expedite change management, and guidance on developing agents to promote AI-driven business transformation.

Oracle Health and Life Sciences executive vice-president and general manager Seema Verma said: “AI is fundamentally changing every industry, and the opportunities for AI-fuelled transformation in healthcare are innumerable.

“By delivering a robust set of resources and expertise, the Oracle AI Center of Excellence for Healthcare helps healthcare organisations improve patient care, unlock deeper research, and streamline complex workflows.”

The Oracle AI Center of Excellence for Healthcare offers support in several critical areas. It provides access to a dedicated Oracle team for brainstorming, implementing, testing, and evaluating AI projects.

Customers can engage with Oracle partners and system integrators and gain insights from peers within the healthcare industry.

The centre also provides a comprehensive resource hub with on-demand access to frameworks, guides, and best practices to enhance AI-powered efficiency and breakthroughs.

Moreover, the centre assists organisations in aligning business challenges with regulatory requirements. It offers interactive sessions to help customers integrate AI best practices that comply with regulations such as HIPAA, PII, and data privacy standards.

On-site working sessions allow for rapid testing of AI innovations across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, and Oracle Health technology, enabling organisations to address significant challenges with the latest technology.

Additionally, the centre’s experts extend beyond technical support. They assist in facilitating organisational change management, deliver tailored user training, and conduct guided seminars to demonstrate the benefits of AI at all organisational levels.

In June 2025, Oracle released its new cloud-based offering, Oracle Health Community Care, for caregivers to access patient charts.

“Oracle Health launches AI centre for healthcare innovation” was originally created and published by Hospital Management, a GlobalData owned brand.
