Sarah Ferguson may not be living with her ex husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor for much longer, but it is believed she will always be there for him. Despite divorcing in 1996, the pair have maintained a strong friendship, so strong in fact that she has lived with him at Royal Lodge since 2008.

While they have both been asked to vacate the property as a result of scandals surrounding Andrew’s previous associations with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, it is believed they will no longer live together. Although Sarah has not commented on the scandals her ex husband is currently facing, which includes accusations he strongly denies, she has shared her true feelings on this before.

This included in an interview in 2023 – a year after the late Queen Elizabeth II stripped Andrew of his military titles and royal patronages.

This was the result of accusations that Andrew had sexually assaulted Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre – claims he has always strongly denied, and which ultimately resulted in him stepping down from royal duty.

When asked about the difficult few years in an interview with The Telegraph in 2023, Sarah said: “I think it’s really sad to see what Andrew has been through.”

While she showed strong sympathy for her ex husband at the time, she has not made any comments over the last few months as scandals about Andrew continue to rumble on.

Instead, it is believed she is actually trying to make distance between herself and her ex husband moving forward.
