Our pets are becoming TV connoisseurs these days, choosing from a wide range of shows which appeal to their specific tastes. Scroll through TikTok, and you’ll see videos of dogs hooked on animated offerings like Bluey or Scooby-Doo, or cats transfixed by CatTV or the “Aristocats” movie.

My own cat, Spaghetti, enjoys the seasonal offerings on CatTV. During Halloween, it was skeletons dangling as mice ran past haunted back-drops and birds flying across a screen of discarded pumpkins as spooky music blared. Now, it’s the Christmas shows, and he’ll literally glare at me until I get the right one on.

For the dog in today’s video, his tastes are not so discerning. He’s hooked on the “Samsung” logo show, which is, as it sounds. A black screen with the “Samsung” logo. It glides up, it glides down, and left and right. And that’s the show. This Golden Retriever doesn’t need anything else. He is utterly locked in, and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Now, that’s my kind of dog. No glaring, no drama. You don’t even have to put “his show” on–you just wait for the screensaver to take over!

This video is the prime type of material for TikTok’ers, and they are killing it with the comments.

“It hits the corner in season 2. After that, it gets boring,” and with that, one commenter spoiled it for all of us, LOL. Another viewer was still lost: “I’m afraid I missed the first episodes. Any way I can get caught up?”

One viewer joked, “Season 4,375 episode 3,654 and the suspense is killing me too.”

The pup actually makes a move to try to apprehend the “Samsung” logo when it finally seems to disappear behind the TV and viewers loved that part. “It was cute enough when it was him just watching the screen, but then he goes around the back? That’s a 10 out of 10 from me.”

And finally, some have seen improvement in the show, and thought maybe the Golden was picking up on that, “The character development this season was top tier. The writers really outdid themselves.”

Whatever it is they find so compelling, that’s a happy pup. One logo, zero plot and absolutely endless entertainment and joy. Can’t beat that.
