Two new sources point to the upcoming release of a new Amazfit smartwatch. Referred to with model number A2557, this wearable was first spotted in Malaysia and has now popped up in South Korea and Indonesia. Rumors suggest that it could be a new Falcon or Cheetah smartwatch, though Zepp Health has yet to officially announce the model.
A seemingly unreleased Amazfit smartwatch, referred to with model number A2557, has appeared again. The last release from Zepp Health, the company behind the Amazfit brand, was the T-Rex 3 Pro smartwatch.
The mysterious new Amazfit A2557 smartwatch was first spotted in a listing in the Standard and Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM) database from late November 2025. Now, it has been found as a certified device in two more databases. The first belongs to the National Radio Research Agency (NRRA), a South Korean organisation. The second is associated with the Directorate General for Digital Infrastructure (DJID, formerly SDPPI), a body based in Indonesia. Neither listing reveals any more details about this “small output wireless device”.
Rumors suggest that this Amazfit smartwatch could be the Falcon 2. The original Falcon smartwatch was released in 2022 as a premium model with GPS tracking, a wide range of sports modes and 200 m water resistance. It could also be that this is a new Cheetah running smartwatch, a line which has not been refreshed since 2023 (Cheetah Pro Kelvin Kiptum Commemorative Edition smartwatch aside).
It remains to be seen when Zepp Health will officially announce this new Amazfit smartwatch, or when it could go on sale. It might be that the company chooses to announce this watch at CES 2026 in January, following on from the similarly timed 2025 unveiling of the Active 2 (Black curr. $99.99 at Amazon).
