Impact investing has grown rapidly in recent years, supported by growing interest in directing capital towards projects that deliver measurable social and environmental benefits alongside financial returns.

For KiwiSaver members, this raises a bigger question: is it really possible to invest responsibly without compromising long-term financial returns? The evidence
increasingly suggests it is. Many active managers, including Generate, are supporting a range of impact names, including local innovators whose ideas are having both commercial success and meaningful community or environmental impact.
