A woman has been seriously injured after coming off an E scooter in Merivale.
A police spokeswoman told chrislynchmedia.com emergency services were called to the intersection of Holly Road and Papanui Road in about 7.45pm on Tuesday.
A St John spokesperson said they responded with an ambulance and rapid response vehicle.
“One patient was assessed at the scene and transported to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.”
No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash, the police spokeswoman said.
