Kylie Kelce heard Travis Kelce admit that he and girlfriend Taylor Swift don’t fight, and the “Not Gonna Lie” podcaster had some thoughts.
“I haven’t gotten into an argument ― never once,” the NFL star said with a laugh during a recent interview with George Clooney on he and brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
When Kylie Kelce, who is married to Jason, was asked by commenters to give her two cents on the matter, she joked that her “husband was oddly quiet during this segment.”
“He did ask a couple [of] clarifying questions. But for the most part, his ass knew that he could not say that after almost eight years married,” she said, adding that the two “absolutely argue.”
“Now, do we argue often? Not really. But we’ve definitely argued. Uh, for sure,” she added.
Clooney has famously asserted before that he and his wife, international human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, have never argued in their 10-plus years together.
Kylie Kelce cast some doubt on both the actor’s and her brother-in-law’s claims, saying that it was “important to figure out what the definition is of an argument” and differentiate between yelling, arguing and bickering.
“I’m very confused about this,” the high school field hockey coach said. “To George Clooney’s credit, I would not argue with Amal either. Absolutely not. I would be right behind her like, ‘Yeah, get him! What she said ― I’m with her.’ Whatever she says, we ride at dawn.”
Amal Clooney has shared before that other people in their life also don’t believe they’ve never argued.
“I have a cousin, actually, every time we see him he’s like, his first question is, ‘So have you had an argument yet?’ before he says hello,” she shared during a joint interview with George Clooney on “CBS Mornings” back in 2022.
