The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold went on sale last week and it sold out in minutes in its home country of South Korea. Locals who missed out the first time around will have another shot – publication The Chosun quotes insiders who say that Samsung will restock in a couple of days.
According to this report, the online store at Samsung.com will have new units available at 10am on Wednesday. Chances are that it will sell out just as fast, so you better act quickly if you want one – it is estimated that only 3,000 Z TriFolds are set aside for the domestic market.
Some offline stores will also receive an additional shipment (presumably at the same time). It’s not clear which stores, though. For its launch on the 12th, the new tri-foldable was available at 20 stores across Korea.

Scalpers are making things worse, as usual. The Galaxy Z TriFold launched at KRW 3,594,000. And shortly after it sold out, there were listings on secondhand trading platforms with price tags up to 4 million KRW – some reaching as high as 10 million KRW.
This new stock will be sold at the original KRW 3,594,000 price, which should bring down the prices on these secondhand platforms. That might be temporary, though, as Samsung will probably sell out of Galaxy Z TriFold units pretty quickly.
