Soft Focus Shift
Thomasin McKenzie continued her Rodarte run in a white Fall 2025 dress that marked a clear departure from the frothy silhouettes she’s leaned into before. This felt more grown-up and pared back, though the low placement through the bodice slightly undermines the overall balance. The gloves and choker stop the look appearing washed out. I know these accessories won’t be to everyone’s liking, but the dress alone may not have carried enough weight. Sophie Bille Brahe earrings completed the look.

Understated Confidence
Amanda Seyfried wore a Giorgio Armani asymmetric tonal striped jersey mock-neck dress that saw her opting for simplicity. Styled with Aquazzura Artiste pumps and Tiffany & Co. jewels, some might feel this is underwhelming for a premiere, but I’ll take this over an experimentation from Amanda at the moment.

Jewellery First Moment
Stacy Martin wore a Louis Vuitton black gown, elevated by draped three-quarter sleeves that prevented this from veering into totally forgettable territory. While the central slit felt unnecessary, the real focus was the Ever Blossom necklace and Agrafe earrings from Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection, which carried this look entirely.

Lewis Pullman was easily the best dressed here wearing a Valentino Resort 2026 look by Alessandro Michele, striking a relaxed balance between classic tailoring and contemporary ease.

Quiet and Considered
I also really loved Norwegian director Mona Fastvold’s Prada dress. It doesn’t scream “director mode”; the embellishments give it a festive feel, and the silver Prada sandals were the perfect styling choice.
