“What sort of oven cooks a whole chicken in 45 minutes?”, asked one.
Another said there was “better food served in hospitals”, while others suggested the meal would have benefited from gravy.
“You have so much free time and passion for cooking … why are you not taking proper cooking classes?”, another commenter wrote.
However, others came to Beckham’s defence, saying the meal looked delicious and appetising.
“I love your cooking videos, always achievable, versatile and tasty! Well done you! Keep at it!”
Another added, “Looks yummy, merry Christmas.”
Beckham began documenting his kitchen experiments during Covid lockdown in 2020.
The following year, he debuted his Facebook video series Cookin’ with Brooklyn, where he took lessons from professional chefs like Nobu Matsuhisa and Roy Choi.
The show drew criticism over high production costs — reportedly up to $100,000 per episode — and claims that Beckham was plating pre-prepared food rather than cooking from scratch.
Brooklyn has also been embroiled in a long-running feud with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, with the Daily Mail reporting the family has not spoken in more than a year.
He was notably absent from celebrations for his father’s recent knighthood and 50th birthday.

Heatword reported that Brooklyn had threatened to drop his Beckham surname unless his parents publicly apologised to his wife, Nicola Peltz.
Commenters urged Brooklyn to make peace with his parents.
“Speak to your parents, only one life and it is very precious,” one wrote.
“Ring your old man,” another said.
“Go and see your parents, you will regret it later in life,” a third added.
The rift is said to have started after Peltz chose not to wear a Victoria Beckham gown at her 2022 wedding, according to The Standard.
