Sia’s smiling face was on full display during her latest red carpet outing.
Despite frequently using wigs to conceal her face during public appearances and performances, the “Elastic Heart” songstress stepped out in Los Angeles this week while showing off her stunning facial features on the red carpet.
On Thursday, Dec. 18, Sia attended the Los Angeles premiere of the new comedy drama Is This Thing On?, starring Laura Dern and Will Arnett. The 50-year-old pop star was accompanied for the event by reality star Harry Jowsey, with whom she previously sparked romance rumors over the summer.
In photos from Thursday night’s premiere, Sia was smiling ear-to-ear while posing for the cameras, even flashing photographers a peace sign with her hand in one of the shots. The “Chandelier” artist was dressed in a black turtleneck under a long, cheetah-print coat.

Although Sia didn’t have her face covered for the outing, she was still sporting her signature bright red lip, as well as a black leather baseball cap.
Thursday’s red carpet photo-op comes two years after Sia revealed she underwent a mini face lift procedure. She opened up about the her plastic surgery in October 2023 while making the candid statement, “I’m a pop star that normally hides my face and doesn’t lie about s—t.”
The Australian singer—who also revealed in 2023 that she is on the autism spectrum—sparked plenty of intrigue over the years her famous incognito appearance, though she does still show her face in public every now and then.
She has previously explained that she wanted to maintain a sense of privacy in her life, despite being a pop music superstar.
“I just wanted to have a private life,” she told the New York Times in 2014. “Once, as my friend was telling me they had cancer, someone came up and asked, in the middle of the conversation, if they could take a photograph with me. You get me? That’s enough, right?”
