Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have shared their future with ITV, after being with the broadcasting channel for nearing three decades. The presenters have been on our screens almost every weekend over the years, whether it be live from the Australian jungle, hosting Britain’s Got Talent or visiting homes up and down the country as part of Saturday Night Takeaway.

The presenters are “absolutely delighted” to announce they are extending their exclusive ITV contract for three more years. It means the much-loved partnership will be at the broadcaster and on its streaming service, ITVX, until the end of 2028.

2028 is the year they mark 30 years after they joined ITV. They first appeared on our screens to front the children’s Saturday morning show SM:TV Live alongside Cat Deeley.

Speaking of the exciting news, Ant, 50, said: “We are absolutely delighted to be continuing our long-standing and creative partnership with our friends at ITV.”

Dec, 50, added: “We’re so lucky to work on some of the biggest and best TV shows, and we’re proud of what we have achieved together with ITV over the years.

“We’re excited for the future and looking forward to making more great entertainment together”.

In November, the boys will jet out to Australia once again to present the jungle survival show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

During their time at ITV, Ant and Dec have bagged 48 National Television Awards and 18 BAFTA Television Awards for their unrivalled impact in live entertainment.

Kevin Lygo, Managing Director for Media and Entertainment at ITV, described their partnership as “triumphant”.
