Tara Sutaria and her boyfriend Veer Pahariya have finally responded to the buzz around a viral video from AP Dhillon’s Mumbai concert.
The clip showed Tara joining the singer on stage, where she hugged him and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
However, what grabbed more attention online was Veer’s reaction from the audience, with many social media users claiming he looked uneasy during the moment.
Addressing the speculation, Tara shared a video from the concert on her Instagram and strongly dismissed the rumours. She wrote that she and Veer remain united and unaffected by what she called “false narratives,” misleading edits, and paid PR tactics. Tara praised AP Dhillon, called the night special, and added that love and truth always prevail over online negativity.
Veer also responded in the comments, clarifying that the viral clip showing his reaction was misleading.
He explained that the footage of him was taken during a completely different song and not during the performance of Thodi Si Daru. Calling out the misinformation, he labelled the rumours as baseless.
Tara and Veer are believed to have started dating earlier in 2025. Relationship rumours first surfaced when they were frequently seen together on private outings. In March, they appeared together as showstoppers at a fashion event, and later officially confirmed their relationship during Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
In a recent interview with Travel and Leisure India, Veer spoke openly about his bond with Tara, saying they have never hidden their affection and have always been expressive about their feelings since their first date. Reflecting on when their connection deepened, Veer recalled a memorable night where he played the piano while Tara sang until sunrise. Tara added that their strength lies in standing by each other forever.
