Savannah Phillips is in for a special day today as she celebrates her 15th birthday with her nearest and dearest. Savannah was born at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on December 29, 2010 to Peter Phillips and his ex-wife, Autumn Kelly.
Her birth was extremely special for the Royal Family as she was Princess Anne’s first grandchild, as well as Queen Elizabeth II’s first great-grandchild. In the years that have followed, 13 more of the late monarch’s great-grandchildren have been born into the Royal Family.

Although Savannah’s parents are divorced, and have been for a few years, it is believed she has still always had a happy home life. Her parents, Peter and Autumn, co-parent Savannah and her younger sister Isla successfully in Gloucestershire. It is believed that Savannah, when she is not at boarding school, lives on Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park estate, where her parents are also believed to still reside.

Although not a massively well-known royal, Savannah gets on well with some of the most prominent members of the Royal Family. This includes Prince William and Princess Catherine’s children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. At royal events over the years, Savannah has been seen having a good laugh with her young royal relatives, which suggests they share a close bond.

Savannah is also close to her grandmother, Princess Anne, with the pair both sharing a love of horses. While Anne, 75, can seem formal on royal engagements, it is believed she is a fun-loving grandmother who spends plenty of time with her grandchildren. In an interview marking her 70th birthday in 2020, Anne’s two children spoke about what she is like as a grandmother. Peter said: “She loves seeing them ride, she loves having them around for Sunday lunches, doing all the sorts of stuff we used to do as kids. She now takes them to do this sort of things.” Zara joked: “We quite like leaving them on Sundays. We’ll say, ‘We’ll pick them up later, bye.'”
