A charity which supports islanders with multiple sclerosis is inviting new members to join its committee as it looks ahead to the new year.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Jersey is appealing for new committee members, including a chair and secretary, to help steer the charity through its next chapter.

The voluntary roles are aimed at individuals looking to give their time, enthusiasm and commitment to supporting those affected by the condition.

A spokesperson from the charity explained that the committee plays a crucial role in guiding the charity’s work and representing the needs of people living with multiple sclerosis in Jersey.

“Strong leadership and fresh ideas are essential to help us to continue supporting individuals and families affected by MS,” the spokesperson said.

“We’re keen to hear from anyone who feels they could make a positive contribution.”

The charity supports islanders with multiple sclerosis and their families with financial help, emotional support, and by raising awareness of the condition locally.

Those interested in finding out more about joining the committee are invited to email mail@laurakearns.co.uk for further information.
