Journalist and author Bill Donahue will discuss his book “Unbound: Unforgettable True Stories from the World of Endurance Sports” on Saturday, Sept. 13, at 2 p.m. in the Daniels Room of the Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St.
Donahue, a Hancock resident, has reported on endurance sports worldwide for more than 25 years. “Unbound” includes stories from seven countries and five continents, covering adventures from cycling Dominica’s wilderness to skiing with the U.S. military in Alaska. It also features explorer Sarah Marquis, child runner Budhia Singh and Colombian Tour de France contender Nairo Quintana.
Donahue’s work has appeared in Outside, The Atlantic, Runner’s World, Bicycling and The New York Times Magazine.
