Hey, Dax ShepardCher does not get you, babe.

On Monday’s episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast, Shepard interviewed both his wife, Kristen Bell, and the “Believe” singer, who know one another from working together on the 2010 film “Burlesque.”

A little over an hour into the interview, after Cher emphasized that his wife is “definitely the better half,” Shepard asked the “Moonstruck” star a loaded question about Bell — and her response was pretty epic.

“Who would be your dream partner for her? ’Cause I know you think she could do better, and I don’t disagree,” Shepard asked.

“I don’t know!” Cher said, seemingly perplexed by the question.

“Brad Pitt, maybe?” Shepard pressed, while Cher protested and Bell apologized for her husband’s “self-deprecating” behavior.

After a bit of back-and-forth, Cher finally dropped a gem of an insult, aimed directly at Shepard.

“No, but the truth is, I trust her,” Chef said of Bell. “So you must have something that I don’t see.”

Although Cher’s diss was pretty brutal, Bell and Shepard were pretty good-humored about it.

Shepard eventually went on to plead his case to Cher.

“I’ll tell you the thing that you should like about me: I’m not threatened by her shining,” Shepard — who painted a sexy portrait of Bell at his feet on the side of a van in 2021 — told Cher about his wife.

“I love it,” he added. “The shinier she gets, the better.”

A little bit later, Bell decided to stick up for her hubby.

“Trust me, he’s a slow burn,” she assured Cher. “But you’re gonna learn to love him. He’s almost too good for me.”
