Soon we will be able to send money to each other with just our voice. Say, you want to send money home to your family, but don’t wanna go through all the extensive funds transfer menus of your banking apps. Just say: “Send money to Zainab.”
At least that’s what internal sources available to ProPakistani have revealed. United Bank Limited (UBL), a major bank in Pakistan, is about to introduce voice activation features to its mobile app.
Not only will this let you pay money to anyone, but also pay bills, check account statements, and pay your mobile phone bills or add more credit.
Now, of course, making payments as easy as speaking a few words makes it a lot more dangerous. Anyone could grab hold of your phone and simply say they want all your money in their own account after adding themselves in. We hope to see seamless security features alongside this voice activation ability once the update becomes available to everyone.
