Three people have been injured in a three-vehicle crash on Poripori Rd in Lower Kaimai, north of Tauranga.

The crash happened about 3pm.

A police spokesperson said one person had serious injuries, another had moderate injuries and the third minor injuries.

“Traffic management is in place.”

John spokesperson said two patients, both in moderate condition, were being transported to Tauranga Hospital.
