Prince Harry appeared to make an awkward blunder as he failed to mention Meghan Markle‘s cooking show when revealing what the pair watch on Netflix at home in Montecito. The royal, who will celebrate his 41st birthday on Monday, made an appearance at the WellChild Awards in London earlier this week.

Harry, 40, arrived in the UK earlier this week for a host of charitable engagements – as well as a visit to see King Charles at Clarence House on Wednesday. Although Meghan didn’t join her husband on the visit, Harry did mention his wife during a conversation where he was asked what he watches on Netflix.

At the WellChild Awards, Special Recognition winner 13-year-old Grace Tutt – who uses a wheelchair after a bus crash – asked Harry what he would recommend for her to watch on the popular streaming service.

He told her that he typically watches shows such as the political thriller ‘Hostage’ and reality dating show ‘Love Is Blind’ with Meghan.

Harry told Grace: “My wife and I just finished watching Hostage. It’s very good, it’s filmed here. If you haven’t seen it, you should watch it.”

The royal then followed up with: “Although if it’s unsuitable, it wasn’t my recommendation!”

Although he shared some shows that he loves, he failed to mention With Love, Meghan, which aired its second series last month.

The show, which aired its first series earlier this year, is one of the final projects of the Sussexes’ multi-million-pound Netflix deal.

With Love, Meghan has been met with a host of negative reviews, with Meghan being referred to as “needy” and “narcissistic”.

The Mail’s journalist Liz Jones recently branded second series as “staged, fake and dull” – but, unlike other critics, commended the 44-year-old for being “genuinely earnest”.
