After a brief, holiday-related hiatus, celebrities are back on red carpets with their finest luxury timepieces in tow. Dwayne Johnson continued his horological hot streak, showing off an elegant IWC Portugieser at Variety’s Creative Impact Awards. Jacob Elordi and Paul Mescal both sported Cartier Tanks at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards, suggesting that the tall-guy-small-watch trend will live on in 2026.
Chris Pratt and Connor Storrie also repped the same watchmaker, both rocking Hublots at events in London and Los Angeles, respectively. Elsewhere in L.A., Stephen Graham flexed a steel Rolex Daytona at his career retrospective and Colman Domingo donned his trusty Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra for a screening of Dead Man’s Wire.
Below are the best watch flexes of the week.
Stephen Graham: Rolex Daytona

The Rolex Daytona that Stephen Graham wore to the career retrospective the SAG-AFTRA Foundation held in his honor is just like him: legendary. Produced between 2000 and 2016, the revolutionary model (Ref. 116520) was the first Daytona to feature the in-house Caliber 4130 rather than the previous Zenith-based movements, giving the Crown true independence in terms of chronograph production. It also looks good, too, with a sleek, steel-on-steel design and a simple white dial. You can usually find pre-owned examples for around $25,000.
Chris Pratt: Hublot Big Bang Unico Titanium

New year, new watch brand for Chris Pratt. The actor, who pretty much always wears Panerai or IWC, busted out a Hublot Big Bang Unico for a Mercy photocall in London on Thursday. This reference was released in 2018 as a smaller, 42 mm alternative to the 44 mm original. It showcases a titanium case and a black skeleton dial that offers glimpses of the self-winding movement. The “open heart” HUB1280 Unico provides a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. It also features a chronograph system with a flyback function, enabling timing transitions with a single push. The piece retails for $22,800.
Jacob Elordi: Cartier Tank LC

Jacob Elordi won Best Supporting Actor at Palm Springs for playing “the Creature” in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein. The Cartier he was wearing as he accepted the award seemed perfectly in keeping, too, with a very Frankenstein-esque colorway. Released in 2023, the Tank Louis Cartier features a green lacquered dial and alligator strap, which is contrasted by a 25.5 mm gold case, matching gold hands, and a beaded crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel. Elordi, a newly minted Cartier ambassador, paired the $14,800 piece with earrings from the Juste un Clou and Love collections.
Colman Domingo: Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra

Colman Domingo killed the red carpet yet again at the Los Angeles screening of Dead Man’s Wire, pairing a chic Zenga ensemble with Boucheron bling—he actually just became an ambassador for the French maison—and his go-to Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra. Released in 2024, this reference has a simple black lacquered dial that is free of the horizontal “teak” pattern that typically graces the Aqua Terra. The model is available with either a 41, 38, or 34 mm stainless-steel case, with a different Master Chronometer-certified movement added depending on the size. The 41 comes with a Caliber 8900 and costs $7,000.
Dwayne Johnson: IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar

Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson wore a fittingly powerful IWC Portugieser to Variety’s Creative Impact Awards on Sunday. Introduced in 2015, the 44.2 mm red-gold reference features a silver dial with indicators for the date, day, month, and year, as well as a perpetual moon phase display, a power reserve indicator, and a small seconds subdial. The automatic movement (Caliber 52610) provides an incredible power reserve of seven days. Even more impressive, the high-precision moon phase display only requires a one-day adjustment every 577.5 years. You can pick one up for $52,700.
Connor Storrie: Hublot Classic Fusion King Gold

Heated Rivalry star Connor Storrie wore a royally flash Hublot Classic Fusion as he announced the 32nd Annual Actor Awards Nominations at SAG-AFTRA in L.A. on Wednesday. This specific King Gold iteration features a 38 mm case and bezel in the Swiss watchmaker’s signature 18-karat rose-gold alloy, which is warmer than traditional 5N gold. The black sunray dial is also topped with King Gold hands and markers, creating an eye-catching contrast. The beating heart is a self-winding movement (HUB1110) with a 48-hour power reserve. The King Gold is available in four sizes, with the 38 retailing for $21,100.
Paul Mescal: Cartier Tank LC

Paul Mescal has found a fail-safe combination for red carpets: Gucci and Cartier. The Hamnet star wore suits by the Italian fashion house and watches by the French jeweler to both the Critics Choice Awards and the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards. (He is an ambassador for both, hence the loyalty.) In Palm Springs, he sported his go-to Tank Louis Cartier as he accepted the Vanguard Award. Released in 2022, this reference features a large case made of 18-karat yellow gold, a minimalist black dial with gold sword-shaped hands, a beaded crown set with a synthetic cabochon-shaped spinel, and a black alligator strap. It is priced at $14,800.
