Woolworths is releasing a new range of collectables for shoppers to build their own little homes. Following the success of the original supermarket miniatures and a farming edition, the retailer will now offer the Woolworths Bricks Home range.

The collectable set includes 40 common items Australians can find in their pantry, family members and even pets. Shoppers will need to spend $30 in Woolworths or Big W from January 28 to get the mystery bag.

“Since their debut in 2021, Woolworths Bricks have become a much loved collectible amongst our customers,” Woolworths grocery marketing director Jane Saleh said.

“The new Home edition rewards our customers as they shop, and gives them the chance to enjoy moments together as a family with a range of Bricks that they can play with to create a home.”

She said the new range also pays homage to “Aussie’s love of backyard cricket”.

The set will include Woolworths Cricket Blast girl Laura, along with cricket stumps and a recycling bin stump.

“This year we’ve also added in a new cricket twist which brings the spirit of the game off the pitch and into families’ homes, further extending our support for Aussie cricket from the grassroots up,” Saleh said.

Woolworths has a “longstanding partnership with Cricket Australia” and has had half a million young Aussies sign on since getting on board with the Woolworths Cricket Blast program.

The “fun-first” program helps children aged 10 and up learn about the game with weekly sessions to develop skills and knowledge.

Australian International Cricketer and Woolies ambassador Alana King was stoked to see the game incorporated in the new range of collectables.

“Backyard cricket was the highlight of my childhood,” she said.

“These Woolworths Bricks are a fantastic way to keep that spirit alive at home while encouraging kids to get creative.

“I especially love that there’s a Cricket Blast girl in the set, seeing that representation is huge for inspiring the next generation of girls to pick up a bat or ball.”

How can I get the Woolworths collectable range?

Australians can collect packs “however they choose how to shop”.

This includes in store at Woolworths, Big W, Metro and MILKRUN, or via Pick Up, Direct to Boot, online delivery.

For every $30 you spend, you get one Woolworths Bricks Home pack.

But you can also get bonus packs for purchasing items from the following participating brands.

Bega Cheese (excluding Bega cream cheese)

However, there is a limit of three bonus packs per participating brand, per transaction.

There are also additional kits you can use to help “build your home” — but these are not for free.

Can I recycle the new Woolworths Bricks Home range?

Environmental concerns have been raised about plastic collectables in the past over what they are made from and how they can be disposed of.

But Woolworths said their range has been made from 100 per cent recyclable plastic.

They will also take care of recycling them if you no longer need the items cluttering your home.

“Woolworths Bricks Home can be returned to stores by 31st March 2026 and will be recycled through iQRenew,” the supermarket said.
