During his appearance, he revealed that the second season of the hit Crave / HBO Max show will likely begin filming “soon,” possibly this summer, and that showrunner Jacob Tierney is still writing it right now.
He also made tuna melts in the TODAY kitchen as a fun reference to the show, which featured the food item.
“That is cute, but I’m gonna show you guys how it’s really done,” he said, declaring:”OK, ladies, toaster on!”
Connor said that one of the lines he hears most is “Okay” in his Russian accent as Ilya.
“I didn’t realize this until after the show came out, but I say ‘OK’ a lot, in a very specific way,” he explained.
He also said the other famous line is: “I’m coming to the cottage.”
Connor also said he pitched himself to a director at the 2026 Golden Globes.
“I won’t say who, but there’s a director that I really, really want to work with that has a movie that should be coming up soon. And I was like, ‘Hi, I love you. I want to be in your movie,’” he said.
“Very quickly, he started talking about anything else. Which I don’t think is a bad sign. I think maybe he was just kind of like trying to connect on a human level,” he added.
Plus, he revealed how Hudson is saved in his phone.
“He is saved as ‘Huddy,’ parentheses ‘Shane,’” Connor revealed.
“I think I typed that in after we did our Zoom, we connected…and then we shared numbers.”
He also just made his late night TV debut, and spoke about the show’s steamy scenes!
