The raging hot favourite to win the Magic Millions 2YO Classic this Saturday is no certainty to take his place in the race.
Warwoven, who was as short as $1.70 with some bookmakers on Friday morning to win the feature on the Gold Coast this weekend, was found to be lame in the off fore leg during a pre-race inspection.
The Sword Of State colt must undergo further examination by vets on Saturday morning before being cleared to run.
And the news didn’t get any better for Bjorn Baker, with his other fancy in the race, Masvingo, also found to be lame in the near fore leg.
The Zoustar filly must also get the tick of approval from stewards before being cleared to run in the $3,000,000 sprint for two-year-olds.
