Former Little Mix member Jesy Nelson has received an outpouring of support following an emotional statement regarding her upcoming documentary.
The mother-of-two is preparing to launch a six-part Prime Video documentary titled Jesy Nelson: Life After Little Mix on February 13. The series chronicles the singer’s challenging pregnancy experience prior to welcoming her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe Nelson-Foster.
Jesy and her former partner Zion Foster became parents to their two girls in May 2025. However, the pop star disclosed earlier this month that her daughters had been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 1, and shared that they may never be able to walk.

A trailer for the documentary emerged on Thursday (January 22), showcasing distressing moments from Jesy’s pregnancy.
One particularly poignant scene shows the star becoming tearful after medical professionals inform her that both babies might not survive due to Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, a rare and potentially fatal condition, reports OK!.
In a heart-breaking moment, Jesy admits: “I hate that my body is like, letting me down.”
Coinciding with the teaser’s release, the singer posted a heartfelt statement on Instagram about the documentary.
She opened by clarifying that she chose to document her pregnancy journey expecting it would be “a really exciting, fun little experience into motherhood that me and my girls could one day sit down and watch back for memories when they are older”.

However, Jesy acknowledged that the year turned out to be “one of the hardest and most painful” of her life.
Whilst she’s thrilled for fans to witness her journey, the 34-year-old revealed she’s only managed to watch the series once as “it’s genuinely too emotional”.
She continued: “But one thing I do know when watching it is how incredibly proud I am of my girls, and how utterly inspiring they are; from their resilience, their strength, their constant fight, and their sheer happiness that they show me day in, day out.
“There may well come a time in the near future when my beautiful girls turn to me and say, ‘Mummy, I don’t think I can do that,’ and if that day ever comes, I’ll sit them down in front of the TV and play them this footage. And I’ll turn to them and say, ‘My darlings, you CAN and you WILL!!!'”
