“The problem with Ruhan [Nel] is that we’ve got a four-week gap after he’s had a calf injury.

“So do you throw him into that [Sharks return match] and risk him… I’m not sure.

“But he should be ready. Theoretically, he could play. Adre [Smith] should definitely be back.

“Salmaan [Moerat] might have hurt himself today in his two-minute cameo, which is a pity.

“Evan [Roos] would also be back.”

Dobson explained Moerat’s injury and in which manner it occurred.

“I hope it’s not a turf toe, but it’s an injury to his toe.

“So he injured himself in the [defensive] maul before getting the [yellow] card.

“He came on when the team was issued the maul warning [for repeated infringements,] which I felt sorry for him.”

“I don’t know the assessment of his injury, but he is not looking good.”
