The Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty led Border 2 is continuing with its glorious run at the box office in India. According to early estimates, Border 2 has collected in the range of Rs. 21 crore to Rs. 23 crore on its fifth day, taking total collections to Rs. 215 crore. The film is an unstoppable force at the box office, and is looking to close its first week with a business of Rs. 250 crore.
Border 2 is turning out to be a blockbuster for the stakeholders, and the response has even motivated them to announce the third part of the franchise. The film is continuing with its roaring business in the mass belts with single screens putting up record occupancies over the last five days.
The multiplexes too are doing good business, as approx. 45 percent of the total is coming in from the top 3 chains – PVRInox and Cinepolis. The film is looking to enter the Rs 300 crore club by the end of second weekend, and then commence its journey towards the Rs 400 crore and Rs 500 crore club.
The Anurag Singh directorial with producer Bhushan Kumar has ensured that 2026 starts with a bang for the Hindi Film Industry, and sets the base well for films like Dhurandhar 2, Ramayana and King to set new benchmarks at the box office.
