A performer recognized for his work in Spider Man has passed away at 38. Alexis Ortega lent his voice to the superhero across Latin America.
His vocals became synonymous with the Spanish-dubbed version of Peter Parker in Spider Man within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Audiences heard his distinctive voice bringing the character to life in films such as Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War.
An announcement on an Instagram account focused on dubbing industry news verified his passing. The message stated: “We regret to announce the passing of voice actor Alexis Ortega. We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.”

No official cause of death has been revealed at this time. The Mexican performer also contributed to numerous Disney productions, while delivering Spanish voice work for films including “Big Hero 6” and “Star Wars: Rogue One.”

The entertainer additionally appeared on camera in series such as Luis Miguel: The Series and La Casa de las Flores.
Admirers honored the talent following the announcement. One social media user posted on Twitter/X: “Yesterday, Gabriel Garzón and today.
“Alexis Ortega was a great dubbing actor… Thank you for everything, Alexis. You did an excellent job giving voice to Spider-Man. Rest in peace.”
Someone else commented: “Rest in peace Alexis Ortega.” They included sorrowful emojis along with a spider web symbol.
The message went on: “I still remember hearing his voice as Spiderman and getting so excited about it in Civil War at the theatres back in 2016.”

A third person noted that the star was “one of the best Latin American voices in movies and series,” They went on to say: “Thank you for everything, Alexis Ortega.
“As one of the characters you portrayed once said, it’s ‘all for now, I’m satisfied with your care.’ Strength to his family, and damn, it’s truly sad to lose someone like that.”
Alexis launched his career in the industry back in 2013. Beyond his work on the silver screen, he had also explored the realm of social media in recent years.
He had contributed to dubbing projects for major channels like MrBeast in their Spanish editions.
