Patrick J. Adams and Pretty Little Liars alum Troian Bellisario are officially a family of five.

The Suits star, 44, quietly announced the arrival of the couple’s third child on Tuesday by sharing a tender black-and-white photo on Instagram that showed his large hand gently cradling his newborn’s tiny palm.

‘Tag, you’re it,’ Adams simply captioned the intimate image, which immediately sent their famous friends and fans into celebration mode.

Among the first to respond was actress Sarah Rafferty, Adams’ former Suits co-star, who wrote: ‘We love you sweet baby,’ alongside a string of red heart emojis.

Ashley Benson added heart-eyed emojis, while Marlene King chimed in with, ‘Oh baby! Mazel Tov! A party of five now!’

More congratulatory messages poured in from Katie Lowes, who wrote that she ‘cannot wait to meet’ the baby.

Meanwhile, Justin Mikita and several other verified friends also shared their joy in the comments.

The baby’s arrival comes just a few months after Bellisario revealed she was expecting while celebrating her 40th birthday in November.

At the time, the actress shared a glimpse of the milestone with a laid-back camping trip alongside Adams, posting footage of the couple traveling in a camper van before settling into a serene, desert-like setting.

‘Here comes a new decade and a whole new human to go with it,’ Bellisario wrote at the time, as she posed on a blanket showing off her baby bump.

Adams, who played Meghan Markle’s love interest on Suits, also shared a stunning black-and-white photo of his wife cradling her bump on Instagram, accompanied by a heartfelt caption.

He wrote, ‘We don’t know your name yet. We don’t know your gender. We don’t know what your smile looks like or what your first laugh will do to our hearts. 

‘We don’t what will make you laugh or cry or what food you will fall in love with first. We don’t know what will scare you or how you’ll learn to overcome it. 

‘We don’t know what kind of music will make you want to move or what kind of clothes you’ll reach for when your arms are strong enough to grab them. We don’t know exactly what kind of gymnastics our hearts will do when we get to hold you for the first time. 

‘We’ve been here before but we’ve never been here with you and so we really know nothing at all. Almost nothing. What we do know is that we have an infinite supply of love waiting for you. Love, laughter, tears, dance parties, lullabies and lessons. 

‘We’ll show you some stuff but you will teach us everything else. We don’t know much but we know there is nothing we want to be more than your parents.

The adorable couple’s love story began on stage. 

They first crossed paths during a 2009 play, sparking a connection that eventually led to marriage in December 2016 at an intimate Southern California ceremony.

They welcomed their first daughter, Aurora, in October 2018, followed by Elliot in May 2021, slowly building a close-knit family away from the public eye.

Although Bellisario and Adams tend to keep their personal lives private, they occasionally share rare updates of their home life on social media.

In September 2023, Bellisario celebrated National Daughters Day with a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing a rare photo of her two daughters.

The former costars have stayed friendly over the years and Adams, alongside his wife, attended the Sussexes’ 2018 royal wedding in Windsor. 

In 2024, he revealed Markle sent him a sweet message, congratulating him on his podcast with Rafferty (who played Donna Paulsen on Suits), after previously admitting the pair had little contact after the show. 

‘She leads a very different life now for obvious and important reasons,’ he said while answering fans’ questions about his relationship with Markle on Reddit.

‘But upon hearing about the podcast. I got a lovely text, saying how excited she was for us and asking how she could help in anyway.

‘So lovely to still have that kind of support and friendship after so many years apart,’ Adams concluded.

When asked by Entertainment Weekly if the Duchess would be join them on the Sidebar, Rafferty declared ‘everybody’s invited’.Â
