The Fiji Airways Men’s National side will play New Zealand in the first Cup semi final at 6.52pm.

This is after they beat South Africa 24-19 in extra time.

Even though South Africa struck first through Tristan Leyds and Donavan Don Fiji fought back through Terio Veilawa who got a try in each half.

The Blitzboks led 14-7 at half time.

Christie Grobbelaar scored again to give the Blitzboks an advantage but Fijian skipper Jeremaia Matana reigned them back in to force play to go into extra time.

Nacanieli Boginisoko was the toast of the side as he scampered up the sideline untouched to ensure that Fiji topped their pool.

Fiji earlier beat Great Britain 22-19, they then thumped Spain 28-7.

France will play South Africa in the second semi final at 7.14 tonight.
