The New Zealand Football Foundation are recruiting a philanthropy and partnerships manager to lead fundraising and donor engagement across football in Aotearoa.
The full-time role is based at Football House in Albany, Auckland, with hybrid working options available for the successful applicant.
The position offers a salary range of $100,000–$120,000 a year, depending on experience, and is offered as a two-year fixed-term appointment.
Reporting to the chief executive, the role is responsible for delivering the Foundation’s philanthropy strategy and achieving measurable fundraising outcomes that support participation, inclusion and community impact.
Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating major donors, expanding new donor pipelines, and stewarding existing supporters across the football community.
The role also involves developing digital fundraising campaigns, contributing to events, and supporting partnerships and storytelling that demonstrate impact at grassroots level.
Applicants should have at least three years’ experience in philanthropy, fundraising or donor management, with strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Experience working with CRM systems or donor databases is required, while experience within sport or community-based organisations is considered an advantage.
The role may require some evening, weekend and travel commitments, depending on events and stakeholder engagement requirements.
