A child has been moderately injured with six others receiving minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash involving pedestrians on Auckland’s Whangaparāoa Peninsula this afternoon.
Police said the crash was reported on Whangaparāoa Rd, near Walbrook Rd, just before 4pm on Monday.
St John said three ambulances, an operations manager and two rapid response vehicles attended.
“Seven patients were assessed at the scene, and one patient has been transported to Starship Hospital by ambulance in a moderate condition,” a St John spokesperson said.
Whangaparāoa Rd was closed between Beach and Walbrook roads while the scene was cleared.
