Police are seeking the whereabouts of 40-year-old Hone Haunui Neal.

Police are appealing for any information on the whereabouts of 40-year-old Hone Haunui Neal in relation to a serious assault that left a man critically injured.

The incident described as “violent” happened at midnight on January 29 at a property on Lyon St, near Avalon Drive in Hamilton.

Police are
warning the public not to approach him, but to call 111 immediately with as much information as can be safely provided, quoting file number 260129/1915.

Alternatively, information can be provided online through 105.police.govt.nz, or by calling 105.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 0800 555 111.
