Michael Klim: from life as an elite athlete to navigating CIDP

Former Olympic swimmer Michael Klim, known for his power and speed, was struck by a rare muscle-wasting disease, leaving him nearly unable to walk.

ABC’s Australian Story will open its 30th season with a documentary on Klim and his life after a CIDP diagnosis.
